I used an Interplak for over 15 years until it just wore out. I tried the Waterpik based on the reviews and the features. I have been pleasantly surprised by how well it performs and the ease of operation. Several points--the tank holds much more than my Interplak and is sufficient to for the entire irrigation process, the OFF/ON toggle switch works well when there is fluid in the tank, but, when the tank is empty, care must be taken to turn it OFF because the entire Waterpik likes to "walk" because of the decreased weight when you put pressure on the switch. I found the Waterpik must be fairly close because of the relative short connection between the pik and the tank, however, one learns to work with it.Overall, a good irrigator and one worth the cost. I'm looking to many years of use and would recommend this to any potential buyer.
